Issuance of SPI Vehicle Identification Stickers Ends Sunday Night
The issuance of vehicle identification stickers for South Padre Island residents will end Sunday night, July 17th.

Vehicle identification stickers are issued at the South Padre Island Fire Department, located behind City Hall at 4501 Padre Blvd. The stickers are issued between 7am-10pm daily.

Persons seeking stickers will need proof of residence, such as a drivers license, utility bill, etc. They will also need the license plate number, year, color and make of the vehicle being registered.

Vehicle identification stickers are one of the forms of identification used to allow people to return to South Padre Island following any evacuation. If a storm is approaching the Island, no stickers are issued within 72 hours of a potential landfall.
